Nick and Kaiya first met in high school, where a friendship began before the timing was quite right. After graduation, life took them in different directions—Kaiya became a mom to her sweet son, Vincent, while Nick followed his own path.

In 2018, fate brought them back together when Kaiya moved into the same apartment community as Nick. When COVID hit, Nick became a familiar face on the porch, cheering Vincent on as he learned to ride his bike and quickly becoming one of his biggest supporters (VIP status at Vincent’s 3rd birthday included!).

Not long after, Nick asked Kaiya on a date, and the rest is history. Together, they’ve grown into the loving, perfectly matched family they were always meant to be.
